Sketchbook Communications respects your privacy. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to ensure you are familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose certain information about you.
In order to access Content or purchase Subscription Content, you will be required to open an account with us (an “Account”). By providing Personal Information and opening an Account, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Providing us with your personal information is always your choice. However, if you do not provide the Personal Information reasonably required by us, we may not be able to provide Content, including Subscription Content to you. When you provide Personal Information to us, you are providing your consent to our collection, retention, use and disclosure pursuant to our Privacy Policy, for as long as it may be required for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, and any Subscription Agreements. Your consent remains valid even after the termination of our relationship with you, unless you provide us with written notice that such consent is withdrawn.
All capitalized terms not defined herein shall have those meanings as set out in our Terms of Use or our subscription agreement(s) with you (each, a “Subscription Agreement”). Our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any Subscription Agreements we may have with you from time to time collectively form our agreement with you.
In order to access Subscription Content, you will be required to enter into a paid monthly subscription with us (a “Subscription”) pursuant to a Subscription Agreement. Sketchbook Communication’s collection of Personal Information is a requirement to having a Subscription.
Personal Information is information that identifies you as an individual, including:

• your email address
• your postal address
• your phone number
• your credit card information.
Our collection of Personal Information is governed by the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (SBC 2003 c. 63) (“PIPA”).
In addition to Personal Information, we may also collect other information that does not reveal your identity, including:

Sketchbook Communications will only retain your Personal Information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the fulfillment of its purposes.
Sketchbook Communications uses your Personal Information that you provide to us in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy so that you can access Subscription Content. We may use Personal Information:

Sketchbook Communications may disclose certain parts of your Personal Information to others. Your Personal Information will only be disclosed to the minimum extent reasonably necessary to meet our purposes. We may disclose your Personal Information:
• to our employees to the extent reasonably necessary to comply with our Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy, and any Subscription Agreements
• to third party payment processors and order fulfillment to process your orders
• to third party service providers to the extent necessary, in our sole discretion, acting reasonably, to satisfy our obligations to you under the Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any Subscription Agreements.
• in the event of a sale or reorganization of our business. As our business consists primarily of client relationships, information regarding particular accounts or services being purchased or sold could include Personal Information and be one of the transferred business assets.
• as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including the laws of British Columbia and Canada; (b) to comply with legal process or an order of a court of competent jurisdiction; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to enforce our Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy, or any Subscription Agreements; (e) to protect our operations; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of you or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
We endeavor to only disclose your Personal Information to reliable third parties. We do not share information with other parties for marketing programs.
This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information or practices of any third parties, including (a) any third parties to whom we have provided your Personal Information pursuant to this Privacy Policy; or (b) any third parties to whom we may have provided a link through our Site. The inclusion of a link on our Site does not imply, and you should not take it to mean, that we have endorsed such Site or its terms of use or privacy policy. In addition, we may provide you with access to third-party functionality that permits you to post content, such as social media sites. Any information you provide through the use of such functionality is governed by the applicable third party’s privacy policy and not by this Privacy Policy.
On your written request to our Privacy Officer, we will inform you of the existence, use and disclosure of your Personal Information that is under our control, as required and permitted by law.
It is important that your personal information is accurate and complete. Having accurate information about you enables us to give you the best possible service. We rely on you to keep us informed of any changes, such as of address, telephone number or any other circumstances.
Despite our best efforts, errors sometimes occur. If you identify any Personal Information that is out of date, incorrect or incomplete, let us know and we will make the corrections promptly and use every reasonable effort to communicate these changes to other parties who may have inadvertently received incorrect or out of date Personal Information from us.
If you have registered through the Site, you may keep your Personal Information accurate, current, and complete by logging into your Account. You may also contact us as specified below.
You may choose to close your Account at any time by submitting a request under your "Account Information" section on the Site. After you close your Account, you will not be able to sign in to the Site or access any of your information. However, you may open a new Account at any time. If you close your Account, we may still retain certain Personal Information associated with your account for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, collect any amounts owed, enforce our Terms of Service, any Subscription Agreements, or other rights, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of the Site or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties' policies.
We employ physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect our systems and all Personal Information under our control against unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. All safety and security measures are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information collected. We use reasonable measures to protect Personal Information under our control. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
